Mon-Fri, 10-7, Sat. 10-6, Sun. 1-5. Closed major holidays. Biking is on paved, hilly, and curvy roads. After the first 0.8K through Biltmore Forest, the next 16.2K is on the Blue Ridge Parkway heading south 8.1K and back 8.1K. The turn around point is at a beautiful overlook of the French Broad River. After reentering Biltmore Forest, the last 8.1K wanders past the country club, golf course and homes of the area. Bike rentals available at bike shop, www.libertybikes.com. BIKE HELMETS ARE MANDATORY. Carrying water is recommended. Not recommended for children. Total bike route shares the road with vehicles.

Mon-Sat. 9-5. Sun. 12-5. Closed major holidays. $6.00 per car to enter Arboretum, except Tuesdays (no charge on Tuesdays). Trail has four options, 5, 10, 11, & 21 km. Only one event credit even if completing all options. 10 & 11 km pass through formal and informal gardens and along forest roads and trails, along babbling streams and over bridges where large trout hide. 11 km also goes around lake. 21 km is a combination of 10 & 11km. 5 km includes formal gardens, walk along stream and through woods. Be sure to visit the Bonsai Exhibition Garden. Look for new collections and Gardens opening during 2007. No pets allowed in the Bonsai Garden, Formal Garden or buildings.
