The meeting will be held from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the William Randolph School located at 90 Montford Avenue, Asheville, and will consist of breakout sessions where small groups will be able to discuss the proposed revisions and learn about steps being taken to make participation in the formal complaint process easier.
The revisions are being considered by City Council’s Public Safety Committee.
The city is currently gathering feedback about the proposed changes via an online survey at https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/noise_ordinance_revisions.
Results of the survey and information gathered at the meeting will be analyzed and presented to the committee. Paper flyers promoting the August 27 meeting are available to neighborhood representatives and stakeholders to distribute or can be downloaded at ashevillenc.gov/projects.
