Brother Wolf Animal Rescue

ASHEVILLE, NC – Join Brother Wolf Animal Rescue in celebrating North Carolina Week for the Animals! On May 9th, pets (and their people) are invited to Pawsfest ’09, held on the grounds of Wags to Riches Thrift Store at 66 Long Shoals Road in Arden – just 15 minutes south of Asheville near Lake Julian.

Visit with Joey the miniature horse, a couple of friendly ferrets, and some rescued parrots, while enjoying food, music, games, pet photos, animal friendly groups and vendors to keep you and your furry pal busy. And if you come without a buddy, you might just leave with one! Dogs and puppies, kittens and cats of all shapes and sizes will be up for adoption, and low-cost microchipping will be offered to help owners keep their own pets safe for life.

For more information, please check the Brother Wolf website, www.bwar.org.
