ASHEVILLE, NC – On April 29, 2010, Asheville will once again join 53 other cities across the country and in Canada for their 8th Annual Dining Out for Life benefit, a fundraiser for the Western North Carolina AIDS Project (WNCAP). This year, to entice you to enjoy all three of your daily meals out on the town, you can choose from over 90 different restaurants in Asheville, West Asheville, Black Mountain, Hendersonville, Saluda, Waynesville, Maggie Valley, Weaverville, and Woodfin.
Choose from over 90 different restaurants in our area and dine out to help WNCAP.All monies raised during this exciting event will help WNCAP continue with their mission of HIV/AIDS education & outreach throughout Western North Carolina and case management services to those living with the disease.
This year Emmy Award winner and author Ted Allen of Bravo’s Food Network, Queer Eye and host of the PBS series “Uncorked,” will be the International Spokesperson for the event, along with Golden Globe nominated actress, Pam Grier. Pam has had a long and storied career in both the movie and TV industry.
Here in Western North Carolina diners will have the chance to enjoy their favorite restaurant or try one of the newer establishments in the area. All restaurants will have WNCAP Volunteer Ambassador(s) on hand to welcome diners, share information about the event, the mission of WNCAP, and information on how you can win a travel package for two, as well as other great prizes for participating in Dining Out for Life.
