ASHEVILLE, NC – Asheville artists Diane Bove and her son Michael Smith will present their work in a new exhibit, “Capturing the Essence,” at UNC Asheville’s Blowers Gallery, June 2-July 27. Bove, a painter, works in bright acrylics. Smith is a fabric artist and uses the shibori dye process. An opening reception with the artists will be held from 4-6 p.m. Friday, June 3, in the Gallery.
